Below are a few testimonies from some of my clients, all at various ages and levels

I searched for a long time to find a trainer that myself and my horse clicked with.

Before I met Krissy my horse could barely maintain a 20m circle in canter! With Krissy's understanding and patience I now have a horse that is much softer, elevated, forward going and his paces have improved dramatically.
Krissy has transformed my horse and has helped me to develop a great partnership with my best friend.

With hard work goals can be achieved  - I have recently won the Novice Pet Plan Area Festival and this would not have been possible without the help and encouragment from Krissy. We had a great day and I was so proud when we led the lap of honour. Thank you Krissy.

"I was looking for a trainer to help me bring on my recently broken KWPN Harness Horse under saddle. His ultimate goal is to be a competitive driving trials horse but at 4 he was not ready to compete in his carriage. I thought some basic ridden dressage would be a great way to strengthen him up, improve his balance and get him used to going out in public. I chose Krissy because I hoped that she would not have any pre-conceived ideas about a driving horse.  Krissy’s enthusiasm, right from our first session when we could barely manage to establish canter, has been infectious. Within three weeks we had achieved 65% at our first unaffiliated dressage show. Since then we have been placed every time out at Prelim and our Novice scores are improving all the time. I have recently affiliated him and he has won his first British Dressage points.  My original plan to help Sirus prepare for his driving career has also got off to a good start – he thoroughly enjoyed his first driving event. He was completely un-phased by the dressage arena and maintained his outline, rhythm and bend throughout his test.  The structure that training with Krissy gives us means that we are always progressing but at a rate and in a way that Sirus finds easy to understand and enjoy." - Sara Simmons

"From the start Krissy has helped and encorouraged me in the rebacking of my 13 year old New Forest Pony.  From the initial lunging to long reining and the first ridden work I felt she was with me every step of the way.  I now have a pony who I take to shows with confidence, I have even won a few rosettes!!!. I am looking forward to this coming year with  Mountain and Moorland showing classes as well as progressing up the dressage ladder. Thanks to Krissy and the super facilities at her yard I can hack out alone with no road work or school my pony in one of two arenas in confidence.  Thank you for helping and being there" - Lesley Chamberlain

ScannedImage"Georgia is 11 years old and has been riding since she was three and showing at County Level since aged 5.  She has had her pony Monty (Wortley Celebration) since she was five and started showing him in Lead Rein classes, then into First Riddens and onto Open Show Hunter Pony Classes since the age of 8.  She always been very successful on him winning and being placed at County Level and Championship Shows. She has qualified him for Horse of the Year Show  the past three years and we were absolutely thilled last year when we finished second and went into the International Arena for the championship.  In 2010 the pair were doing well but I felt that she wasn't listening to Mum any more and although she had had some lessons with a leading Showing Instructor, I felt I wanted her to have some more classical training from a Dressage Instructor.  A friend of mine recommended Krissy.  I booked a lesson and Georgia really enjoyed it and felt she had learned a lot.  After our third lesson with Krissy we went to the Equifest Championships at East of England Showground, she won all three of her classes and a championship, she also qualified for the Leading Rider Finals which is the best rider chosen from some 50 classes (both adults and children) to compete for an overall Leading Rider of the Show Championship. She went into the preliminary juidging and gave a foot perfect display but as they were nearly all adults in the final I didn't think she would have a chance of winning but in the evening finale she was called out as overall champion which was amazing - her first words when she came out were "I am never giving up my lessons with Krissy".  She had a lovely picture and write up in the following weeks Horse and Hound.  The following week we went to our British Show Pony Society championship show, they were highly placed in every class and were second in the "Blue Ribband" the most prestigious class of the championship.   She then did the Best Rider Class which was out of all the top young show jockeys in the UK and she ended up winning that too.  She also did her first dessage test there and finished a very creditable third.  Monty then had a few weeks rest before Horse of The Year Show, a lesson was booked with Krissy the day before we went to give them both a final sharpen up.  We went into the class at the NEC and  I was full of nerves but Georgia looked as cool as anything, they went in and gave the most fabulous individual show, it was a dream come true when she was called out as Winner - the Judge told her when giving her the rosette that she had been awarded 60 out of 60 for her individual show, a score which isn't given out very often.  They went into the overall championship that evening in the International Arena giving a big flashy trot which Krissy had been working on in the previous lesson and to our utter amazement they were called out as overall champion and did a fabulous gallop under the spotlight down the centreline with the Crowd cheering and clapping.  With the help of Krissy Georgia and Monty are going to try their hand at dressage over the Winter as well as doing some jumping as she will be competing for her school in their Eventing Team.  Many thanks to Krissy for working Georgia hard but in a way which young children can understand and enjoy and learn to get the best from their ponies" - Sam and Georgia Darlington

My mare can be very sharp and buzzy, and working in for dressage often resulted in the both of us boiling over! I have only had lessons with Krissy for a relatively short time, yet have made signifcant improvements. Krissy has focussed on my position and also made me realise how much tension I can generate in my mare (unknowingly!) By keeping both me and my mare calm and soft, we have a far greater understanding and partnership. Since starting lessons with Krissy I have been placed every time out at prelim / novice level. Dressage has become enjoyable and we actually get submission marks now! - Sarah J

"Before I had lessons with Krissy my ten year old hunter wouldn't and couldn't trot a 20m circle on the bit, we've now gone from dressage marks (BE) in the high 40's to high 20's, he is a different horse!" - Sonia Marfleet

"Since starting lessons with Krissy I can safely say that my riding has improved a 110%. I hadn't had lessons for a few years due to University and was thinking of getting back into my Dressage, I don't think I could have wished for the improvements I have acheved in my aids and position without her help. I couldn't have wished for more from an instructor, Krissy has offered me support and been understanding of personal situations, and always find's time to fit me in for a lesson. Through recent difficult times with my mare she has even been a shoulder to cry on, I highly recommend Krissy to anyone wishing to further their riding she really is a one in a million instructor." - Holli Richardson Bsc (Hons)
